Mindful Business Consulting
ROOTED IN RELATIONSHIP
Most of the people I work with are deeply skilled at what they offer. What they didn't expect was how much energy running the business itself would take, and how alone it can feel to navigate that without a guide.
I offer Mindful Business Consulting for people who care deeply about what they're building and who want support making it financially sound without losing what makes it meaningful.
With a business degree and over 20 years of experience, I bring both practical training and lived insight to this work. I have supported businesses that are still in the idea phase, circling a vision but unsure how to begin, as well as established small organizations with a handful of employees navigating growth and change.
Much of the work I do is with people in the wellness and service-based fields. Doctors, practitioners, therapists, coaches, founders of small clinics, Buddhist centers, and nonprofit organizations. People who are deeply committed to what they offer, but who were never formally taught how to structure, price, position, or sustain a business. What they need is support translating that expertise into something operationally steady.
In practice, this means we meet regularly — usually every two weeks — and work through your business together in a sustained, unhurried way. You bring what's present: a decision you're circling, a pricing question, a sense that something isn't working. I bring structure, perspective, and the ability to help you see your own work clearly.
This is not corporate consulting. It is thoughtful, attentive work rooted in relationship.
We begin by looking at the whole of your business. Its history. Its current pressures. The future you feel drawn toward. We look at your offerings, your pricing, your financial reality, your messaging, and your day-to-day operations. Not to overwhelm, but to understand.
Our face to face meetings are where the magic happens. Through the acts of deep listening, receiving, and responding, new clarity emerges. What once felt tangled becomes workable. Ideas solidify. Decisions become simpler.
I help translate vision into structure.
Sometimes that means building financial projections so you can see what is actually viable. Sometimes it means refining your services so they are clear and sustainable. Sometimes it means rewriting your website so it finally sounds like you. Often it means stepping back far enough to see what you are holding, and deciding what truly needs your energy.
In this work, we slow down. We notice patterns. We name what is working and what is quietly depleting you. We look at whether your business supports your life, not just the other way around.
My role is to sit beside you, think with you, and help you move forward with steadiness and confidence.
This work is relational. It is practical. It is grounded in experience. And over time, it changes not only how your business functions, but how it feels to lead it.
What I Actually Do
People often ask, “But what do you do, exactly?”
Most of the businesses I work with have one to three owners. Often zero to five employees. Sometimes a small team. They are not large corporations. They are thoughtful, service-based businesses trying to build something viable and meaningful.
The work changes depending on where you are, but it often includes:
For Businesses in the Idea Phase
When a business is just forming, we focus on building strong foundations.
Clarifying and shaping service offerings
Developing pricing that supports both sustainability and your actual capacity
Creating one-year financial projections and tracking systems so you understand your numbers from the start
Designing launch strategy and early marketing plans
Creating operational roadmaps that answer, “What happens next?”
Defining roles between co-owners
Advising on legal structure and early-stage decisions
This stage is full of possibility and uncertainty. I help translate vision into structure, so you can move forward with clarity instead of guesswork.
For Established Small Businesses
When a business is already operating, the work becomes more about refinement and simplification.
This can include:
Evaluating and reshaping offers
Repositioning when the original identity no longer fits
Clarifying brand voice and rewriting websites
Aligning pricing with current reality
Simplifying what has become overly complex
Advising on systems, tools, and tech infrastructure
Often founders are too close to their own work to see it clearly. They know something needs to shift but cannot quite name it.
That is where I come in.
I bring perspective. I ask direct questions. I help you articulate what you already sense but have not yet structured. Together, we make decisions, not just ideas.
Consultation and Implementation
My work does not stop at strategy.
After a consulting engagement, many clients continue working with me to implement what we have clarified. That can include:
Building or redesigning websites
Developing branding and messaging
Setting up email marketing systems
Designing programs or service structures
Creating operational processes and workflows
I can advise, and I can build alongside you. The model is flexible because each business is different.
Clients often leave with clarity, a launched or refined business, a website that finally reflects who they are, and a grounded understanding of their numbers.
The work is tailored, but the outcome is consistent: steadiness, coherence, and forward movement.
This Work is Human
There is something that happens in thoughtful, sustained conversation that cannot be replicated by a tool. I have witnessed it countless times over the years. It is a kind of quiet magic to sit inside a truly relational exchange where disparate pieces begin to synthesize into something coherent and new.
The shift is both intellectual and embodied. Insight is felt not only in the mind, but in the body. What felt scattered begins to settle. In the context of decision-making, that settling often arrives as a clear, grounded yes.
There is a deep satisfaction in that kind of clarity.
Clients often tell me that our conversations bring a kind of steadiness. That they leave feeling clearer, lighter, and more confident in their direction. Not because I have given them answers, but because together we have synthesized what was already present and waiting to take shape.
A human can hold nuance. We can track emotion alongside logic. We can remember what you said months ago and notice how it connects to what is unfolding now. We can sense when something is slightly misaligned, even if it looks right on paper.
That synthesis — past, present, and future held at once — is where real movement begins.
I do not replace your expertise. I sit beside you as a steady, perceptive partner. I ask careful questions. I reflect what I see. Together, we make decisions that feel grounded and expansive at the same time.
This is where the work deepens. And this is where things begin to move.
